I love the random bits of Stuff that get passed around the internet. This morning I found somethingin my inbox that just may Change My Life.
See? How awesome is that? Am I the only one who has labored and cursed over peeling boiled eggs whose shells just wants to STICK to the eggs like they were superglued on?
Unreal. I think I'm gonna go make some egg salad. Right now. Just cause I want to try this out. :)

Well, it was worth trying again. The baking soda made a huge difference in how easy the shell came off... but the whole idea of blowing the egg out of the shell? Didn't work and I felt pretty stupid, actually -- standing there with an egg to my lips and blowing my lungs out! Maybe if I opened the bottom hole a bit more, it might turn out as promised. And, also, if the egg was cracked during boiling... totally wouldn't work.
Wow... that was almost scientific. :)
All in all -- I will totally do the baking soda/ice water thing from now on. Good idea.

I'm pretty sure we need a video of YOU doing this. I so want to see you straining to blow an egg through a small hole.
Hmm, I don't think I meant for that to sound dirty...
Ok, I'm back and the video now works! That is cool. We like hard boiled eggs here, so I'll give it a try. Easter's around the corner, isn't it??
